WLF's mobile unit MASH™ was named for the amazing Military Ambulatory Surgical Hospitals that saved thousands of lives during our history!
MASH™ is a mobile unit that safely transports mini therapy animals to those who cannot come to the farm facilities for programs.
Session visits focus on increasing overall wellness through connecting humans and animals~ following the same program goals that take place in sessions at the farm.
MASH™ session visits promote wellness through interaction with therapy animals:

session visits consist of 4-6 therapy animals per visit

session visits take place inside
(activities take place on yoga mats to ensure nothing is left behind)

session visits range from 1 hour to 1.5 hours

each therapy animal has a trained handler

participants experience hands-on activities with therapy animals

activities are developmentally appropriate, i.e, promoting mobility, dexterity, confidence, verbal communication and much more!

due to funding cuts, donation is requested to cover time and transport
